The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of organizational commitment towards work satisfaction and employee’s performance. The population of this study is the employee of PTPN III in North Sumatera who has a position at middle manager. There are 174 employees in population and the number of sample were 144 respondents. All data of the respective measurement items are tested with reliability and validity test based on Alpha Cronbach to the internal consistence by using SPSS program version 15. To analyze the structural equation model, the study uses AMOS 7. The model of relationship between the three variables studied shown that the organizational commitment that comprise of affective commitment, continuance commitment, normative commitmnet have a significant effect on employee’s performance with positive signs. Work satisfaction has significant effect and mediate the effect of organizational commitment on employee’s performance of PT Perkebunan Nusantara III in North SumateraDownloads
