PRO DAN KONTRA EKONOMI GLOBAL

Abstract

We are now living in the global economy. Whether we like or not, whether we agree or not, the impacts of global economy are effecting us. What happen on the other side of the globe, has brought impacts on our national economy. Therefore, as the citizens of the earth, we have to find ways to survive. On the other hand, those who are against the global economy are trying to change it by accumulating power. They believe that the welfare of all human-kinds depends on the human themselves. Furthermore, improvements must be based on self-supporting, not on globalization. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Saat ini kita hidup dalam ekonomi global. Suka atau tidak suka, setuju atau tidak setuju dampak ekonomi global kita rasakan. Apa yang terjadi di belahan bumi lain, dampaknya terasa dalam perekonomian nasional. Oleh karena itu, sebagai warga bumi kita harus mempersiapkan diri agar bisa survive. Di lain pihak, mereka yang tidak setuju dengan globalisasi ekonomi berusaha mengubahnya dengan menggalang kekuatan. Mereka percaya bahwa kesejahteraan manusia hanya dapat dicapai bila masa depan dipusatkan pada manusia itu sendiri dan kemajuan-kemajuan harus bersifat swadaya, bukannya pada globalisasi Kata kunci : ekonomi global, negara maju, negara sedang berkembang.
