Spa (Sanus Per Aquam or Solus Per Aqua) as a health and beauty care method coherence with various elements include in the Ten Elements of Spa Experience, through the spirit, body, and mind approach, creates a balance between spirit, body, and mind (reflect), a relax atmosphere that could revitalize, and revives the joy (rejoice), and now supported with various facilities and resources, Spa could be an option of healing and therapy. Beautician and beauty clinics who offer Spa as their menu and facilities, but misconceive the meaning and concept of Spa probably make people unwilling to try and have a negative impression about Spa. It will cause a distortion in forming a perception, and also could affect the perception of people about business image of Spa. Abstract in Bahasa Indonesia : Spa (Sanus Per Aquam atau Solus Per Aqua) sebagai salah satu metode perawatan kebugaran dan kecantikan yang dipadukan dengan berbagai elemen yang tercakup dalam the Ten Elements of Spa Experience, melalui pendekatan jiwa (spirit), raga (body) dan pikiran (mind), menciptakan keseimbangan antara jiwa, raga, dan pikiran (reflect), dan nuansa rileks (relax) yang dapat menumbuhkan kembali vitalitas (revitalize) serta mengembalikan keceriaan (rejoice), dan dengan didukung berbagai fasilitas dan sumber daya saat ini, Spa juga dapat menjadi pilihan terapi dan penyembuhan. Adanya salon dan klinik kecantikan yang menawarkan fasilitas dan menu Spa tetapi kurang memahami arti dan konsep Spa mungkin saja mjembuat masyarakat menjadi enggan untuk mencoba dan memiliki kesan negatif akan Spa. Hal tersebut dapat menjadi faktor distorsi pada pembentukan persepsi, dan mungkin saja mempengaruhi persepsi masyarakat Surabaya terhadap image/citra bisnis Spa. Kata kunci: Spa, Persepsi.Downloads
